Buzzsaw Studios has assembled a team whose professional experience has both breadth and depth. Our professionals have worked in advertising, business strategy consulting, business development, county and federal government, graphic arts, fine arts, journalism, marketing management, media sales and web design and development. We have range in our personal lives as well. We love words. We love images. We love being creative. We have all lived outside the contiguous forty eight. Together we speak many languages, including, but not limited to French, Russian, Spanish, CRM, CMS, HTML, mySQL, php, ROI and Ruby. Remarkably, we love analytics too. Creative Strategist

Tim Parsons is the Creative Strategist at Buzzsaw Studios. He is responsible for brand design, visual communications and marketing campaign creation. Tim takes the creative lead on ad/promotion concepting, Web/interactive design, and collateral development. As Creative Strategist, he produces business art with mission and purpose. Tim's professional background is well steeped in advertising, fine arts, commercial arts, print media, packaging and identity design. For Tim, it's energizing to build communication and cultural relationships between products, organizations, businesses and consumers. He studied graphic arts and design in Honolulu, yet chose to plant roots and raise his family in Central Oregon. He is an award winning creative director and designer. His work has been internationally published and recognized in a wide variety of trade magazines and books. Rare for an artist, Tim enjoys the measurable challenges of growing clients' market share, improving customer acquisition & retention rates and using clever business strategy to facilitate success.

Business Director

Could this be you is Business Director of Buzzsaw Studios. His responsibilities include new business initiatives, client development, and account supervision. He is actively involved with many elements of client work, from strategic marketing direction to tactical campaign management. Prior to joining Buzzsaw Studios, he worked in business strategy consulting, business development, marketing management and fundraising. His experience has always been centered on aligning organizations around their customers, helping them to optimize their sales and marketing initiatives. He has worked for product and service companies, entrepreneurs, venture-funded startups, non-profits and Fortune 500 corporations. ? received his Master's degree in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He received his Bachelor's degree in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley.

Communications Specialist

Susan Goodwin is Buzzsaw Studios' Communications Specialist. By day she coordinates client projects, collaborates to concept ads, researches and generates Web site content, and copy edits just about everything that leaves the office. She effectively manages Tim and ? as well. Her professional experience includes work as a wildland firefighter, master gardner, caretaker and journalist. Susan connected with Buzzsaw Studios while working as a reporter and moonlighting as a poet. She was looking to expand her communications experience. It is immediately obvious that Susan can handle much more. Susan received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and International Relations from the University of Oregon. She has creative writing training -- quite handy in this line of work. The intangible feeling of words swirling around her head keeps this Communications Specialist up late at night.
